HELLO!
I am Jacqueline, Registered Nurse, wife, mother and dog mom. Chasing Babies was born from professional expertise and personal experience. As an IVF nurse, I spent years caring for patients during various fertility procedures. I administered care, explained protocols and supported individuals and couples during some of their most emotional moments. But my journey didn't end at the bedside.
I became an IVF patient myself, navigating the uncertainty, hope and heartbreak that so often accompany the path to parenthood. That experience gave me a profound understanding of what it truly feels like to be on the other side of treatment- the waiting, the decisions, the emotional toll, and the resilience it demands.
After becoming a mother, I also faced postpartum depression, an experience that opened my eyes to the often-overlooked challenges that can follow fertility struggles. It reinforced my belief that support shouldn't end with a positive pregnancy test or even at birth- it must continue into postpartum and beyond.
Whether you are chasing your dreams for parenthood or chasing your toddler - I am here to guide you, support you, and celebrate you!
You've got this!

Testimonials
“If you're trying to have a baby or you just had a baby, you NEED Jacqueline in your life. Her advice is invaluable and she has the most calming disposition, both of which come in handy when your own anxiety is through the roof. When my water broke with my first born at 34 weeks, I was in a panic. As soon as I called my husband and arrived at the hospital, the first person I dialed was Jacqueline. I remember being in tears saying, "I'm going to need you." She replied, "I'll be here every step of the way." And she certainly has. She answered all of my questions about the NICU. She helped me navigate the early struggles of breast feeding and was ultimately the one who gave me permission to quit breast feeding when it felt too hard. She answered countless texts and phone calls about illnesses, rashes, and baby behaviors. She talked me through potty training with my stubborn two year old. Most importantly, she gave me the reassurance and the confidence I needed to know I was doing a good job as a mom. Mom guilt and fear is real, but Jacqueline makes that all melt away with her wisdom, experience, and kindness.”

“I met Jacqueline through my place of work. She mentioned that she was a nurse at Boston IVF, and coincidentally enough my husband and I were just in the beginning stages of the process. I hadn't told anyone about it, not even my close friends, and yet somehow I felt comfortable enough to talk to this complete stranger about our journey. I felt an immediate sense of calmness and hope in talking to her, and she gave me her cell number and asked me to keep her updated on how we were doing. After 4 failed IUIs and 3 failed rounds of IVF, I had lost all hope. She checked in on me all the time and went as far as to leave love notes with the nurses on the days I had appointments at the clinic. After we suffered a miscarriage last year, she was the first person I reached out to. She was one of the first people I told when I found out I was pregnant after she had encouraged me to give it another shot. Something about the way she spoke gave me such peace of mind, and her advice was always exactly what I needed to hear to keep hope alive and keep chasing the family we so badly wanted. My appreciation for her is so deep, and I would never have made it through my journey of infertility without her support.”

“Jacqueline was such a wonderful resource during my IVF process. When I had a last-minute question about the trigger shot and my fertility clinic didn’t answer the on-call line, Jacqueline answered right away and I was able to proceed with the injection as scheduled. From providing tips on the best way to use ice packs during injections to how to ease the itching caused by one of the medications, her combination of personal and professional experience made a huge difference and I can’t thank her enough.”
