I'll guide you and support you

HELLO!

I am Jacqueline, Registered Nurse, wife and mother to two beautiful boys and the sweetest Wheaton Terrier. Chasing Babies was formed out of a passion for guiding women who are struggling in a fertility journey or a postpartum journey. I wrestled with both of these experiences and found that  support and practical guidance was needed, but limited. Let me help answer questions and coach you along the way!

More About Me!

I have over 10 years of RN experience at both Fertility Solutions NE and Boston IVF in the PACU preparing and recovering those undergoing egg retrievals or other reproductive procedures. Many of the patients were overwhelmed with IVF information and felt lonely in their experience. Connecting with patients on a personal level and providing them with my stories of IVF with ultimate success not only made them have hope, but also smile and feel less alone. I have guided family, friends and others through their fertility and postpartum journeys.

I am here to advise you, support you, and celebrate with you! Can't wait to chat! You've got this!

Xo, Jacqueline, RN, BSN

Testimonials

“If you're trying to have a baby or you just had a baby, you NEED Jacqueline in your life. Her advice is invaluable and she has the most calming disposition, both of which come in handy when your own anxiety is through the roof. When my water broke with my first born at 34 weeks, I was in a panic. As soon as I called my husband and arrived at the hospital, the first person I dialed was Jacqueline. I remember being in tears saying, "I'm going to need you." She replied, "I'll be here every step of the way." And she certainly has. She answered all of my questions about the NICU. She helped me navigate the early struggles of breast feeding and was ultimately the one who gave me permission to quit breast feeding when it felt too hard. She answered countless texts and phone calls about illnesses, rashes, and baby behaviors. She talked me through potty training with my stubborn two year old. Most importantly, she gave me the reassurance and the confidence I needed to know I was doing a good job as a mom. Mom guilt and fear is real, but Jacqueline makes that all melt away with her wisdom, experience, and kindness.”

I met Jacqueline through my place of work. She mentioned that she was a nurse at Boston IVF, and coincidentally enough my husband and I were just in the beginning stages of the process. I hadn't told anyone about it, not even my close friends, and yet somehow I felt comfortable enough to talk to this complete stranger about our journey. I felt an immediate sense of calmness and hope in talking to her, and she gave me her cell number and asked me to keep her updated on how we were doing. After 4 failed IUIs and 3 failed rounds of IVF, I had lost all hope. She checked in on me all the time and went as far as to leave love notes with the nurses on the days I had appointments at the clinic. After we suffered a miscarriage last year, she was the first person I reached out to. She was one of the first people I told when I found out I was pregnant after she had encouraged me to give it another shot. Something about the way she spoke gave me such peace of mind, and her advice was always exactly what I needed to hear to keep hope alive and keep chasing the family we so badly wanted. My appreciation for her is so deep, and I would never have made it through my journey of infertility without her support.

Jacqueline was such a wonderful resource during my IVF process. When I had a last-minute question about the trigger shot and my fertility clinic didn’t answer the on-call line, Jacqueline answered right away and I was able to proceed with the injection as scheduled. From providing tips on the best way to use ice packs during injections to how to ease the itching caused by one of the medications, her combination of personal and professional experience made a huge difference and I can’t thank her enough.
